John Blair, Founder
TTL Subsea, Inc., which specializes in the distribution of subsea electrical and fiber optic products and services, was founded by John Blair to fill the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry’s need for fast, reliable and safe subsea electrical and fiber optic solutions. John has a very strong background in the seismic and subsea distribution market for O&G customers and plans to use his skills and relationships to make TTL Subsea an industry leader in the subsea O&G market.
John grew up in College Station Texas and joined the U.S. Army right out of high school. There he worked on a variety of helicopters and was crew chief on a UH-1H “Huey” stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. After leaving the Army, he went on to run an automotive repair business for a few years before joining Digicon (now CGG Veritas). John held many positions at CGG Veritas over the years to include seismic cable repair, umbilical repair, fiber optic lead in terminations and management of the equipment for the fleet of vessels from 1996-2006.
John joined ION Geophysical to promote sales of the seabed seismic product line and provide customer support for the products ION manufactures from 2006-2008. In 2008 John joined Bennex (now Siemens) to sell and promote the subsea distribution, sensing and other products and services Siemens provides. In 2013 John began work for Seacon (now TE Connectivity) to start a subsea distribution group for them at their SAPL location in Belleville, Texas, where he was Sales Director for the U.S. until leaving to found the new company TTL Subsea, Inc.

Jesse started in the oil and gas industry in 2006 at Bennex Group AS, later acquired by Siemens Energy, Inc. With a variety of internal responsibilities, his title role was Field Service Representative; testing, installing and repairing subsea and topside control umbilical cable terminations.
